Our Nursery
Our nursery is situated in a well-liked area of South Woodford. Catering to the needs of families in the area, we offer exceptional childcare and education for babies and young children, spanning from three months to five years old. Our doors are open year-round, Monday to Friday, providing a reliable and consistent service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the exception of Christmas week, the summer break, and bank holidays. At our South Woodford nursery, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for the growth and development of every child in our care.

Our Sunflower Team
At Sunflower Nursery, every member of our team is meticulously chosen for their ability to provide warm and consistent care, reflecting a profound understanding of children’s intellectual, emotional, and physical needs.
In adherence to Ofsted criteria, each staff member undergoes a thorough selection process, including reference checks from their most recent employers. Additionally, we conduct regular Barring Service and Enhanced Disclosure checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
The majority of our team members hold qualifications in Child Care Learning and Development, with several attaining degree-level qualifications. We actively encourage the pursuit of formal qualifications for those not already qualified.
Our commitment to excellence is evident in the comprehensive training our staff receives, covering crucial areas such as Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling, and Fire Safety. We assess individual training needs and provide continuous support, offering additional training where necessary. At Sunflower Nursery, we prioritize the ongoing professional development of our team to ensure the highest quality of care for the children entrusted to us.
