Parent Workshops

At Sunflower Nursery, we believe in fostering a strong partnership between our staff and parents, recognising that collaboration is key to a child’s holistic development. In response to the diverse needs of our families, our dedicated staff has initiated and delivered a series of insightful workshops tailored to address specific concerns and requests.

During the challenges posed by the pandemic, we seamlessly transitioned into the virtual realm to support families with toilet training difficulties. Our virtual workshop provided valuable guidance and strategies to parents, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both children and caregivers during this crucial developmental milestone.

In response to parent queries and to provide transparency about our curriculum, we conducted thorough parent consultations. This platform allowed us to address concerns, discuss our curriculum in detail, and ensure that parents felt informed and engaged in their child’s educational journey.

Recognising the post-lockdown struggles some children faced with speech and language development, we organized a successful workshop focused on effective strategies for parents to support children with speech and language delays. The positive impact of these initiatives has led us to establish an annual tradition – a parent workshop series covering the most requested topics. This ensures that our workshops remain relevant, timely, and directly address the evolving needs of our Sunflower Nursery families.
